**Position Information**:
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. **About the Role**

The stores officer is responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective inventory management and logistics service to the school, boarding facility and farm.

As part of the maintenance team, and under the supervision of the maintenance site supervisor, the stores officer works independently, and undertakes a range of tasks including, but not limited to, receipting items & equipment, storage, dispatching items & equipment, inventory management, recording and ongoing maintenance of asset & equipment registers.

**Essential Requirements**

Experience with or basic understanding of logistic processes;
Flexible to assist and perform alternative duties and requested by direct line manager.

**Additional Information**
Hurlstone Agricultural High School (HAHS) is the only NSW government coeducational selective agricultural High School with boarding facility and large school farm. There are currently 935 students enrolled, with new boarder accommodation for at least 180 students, and a large multi-enterprise farm.

HAHS is five minutes drive from the M5 entry/exit and 250 metres walk from Glenfield train station. It borders the Hume Highway M5 on the western side, residential homes on the north farm boundary, and adjoins the NSW Transport boundary on the eastern and southern sides.
