**The Role**:
The primary purpose of this role will be to provide advice on fits, quality, and accuracy in the specifications of the garment and the related technical specification packs to ensure the highest quality fit and construction.
**Key Responsibilities & Skills**:
- Work closely with the Head Garment Technician to ensure effective workflow according to the critical path.
- Liaise with offshore factories across multiple brands from sampling through to bulk production including price negotiating, sample development, production, and timelines.
- Track and log all sample stages from first sample through to shipment.
- Set deadlines and communicate with internal departments to ensure they are met.
- Conduct return analysis, ensuring any faults are corrected with appropriate proceedings.
- Manage fit meetings, re-sampling only where necessary and sign off on all final pre-production samples.
- Meet expectations for our Code of Conduct in relation to ethical and environmental sourcing.
**Ideally You Will Have**:
- 3-5 + years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong garment construction and technical experience across multiple product areas.
- Solid knowledge of garment specification, technical fit with grading experience.
- Effective communication skills with both offshore suppliers and internal departments.
- Commitment to following critical path and timelines with great time management skills.
- Organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- An ability to anticipate problems and provide suitable solutions
- Fluency in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator programs
