Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technology Program Manager to join our Asset Management and Technology team based in our Sydney office.
As a Technology Program Manager, you will be accountable for managing multiple concurrent, complex programs of work within the organisation. With a team of 30+ direct and indirect reports, you will support the Manager of Projects in the team's day to day management to ensure the successful delivery of projects towards our digital evolution.
Other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Build, facilitate and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to support and enable service and project delivery

Coach, mentor and lead the project management team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated and appropriate performance measures are established

Lead and oversee all aspects of project development across a portfolio of complex projects, including preparing business cases and project management plans

Develop detailed program and project schedules, detailing major milestones, critical paths and project risks

Manage the consolidation of reporting for senior management and executives and other relevant stakeholders including key milestone summaries, key issues, risks, benefits, budget

Provide expertise to the teams with specific input to change and risk management plans and information management

Commitment to adopt and promote Snowy Hydro's culture, values and safety focus

10+ years technology and business project manager experience across a variety of project areas, including; COTS system deployments and in-house software development

Ability to manage a diverse team across multiple company locations

Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and skill sets

Project Management qualifications eg. Prince 2, Agile, Change Management

Proven ability to negotiate with, manage and supervise vendors' external contractors and consultants

Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders

The ability to work with autonomy and responsibility

Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines, managing various tasks at once, demonstrating resilience to work in a constantly changing environment
