Technology Program Manager

**What will you do?
- Manage the delivery of multiple technology projects, across compliance and regulatory projects that span across all Lines of Business (LOBs);
- define a project operating model across multi stream and/or complex projects/programs making it simple to execute delivery practices routinely in the most cost-effective manner;
- optimise project scope definition for multi stream, large and/or complex projects/programs; to exclude delivery of capability that is not required to achieve the agreed value outcomes;
- manage activities to assess scope changes and the ongoing alignment to optimise value outcomes, for multi stream, large and/or complex programs of work;
- manage planning activities to optimise utilisation and accelerate delivery across multi streams, large and/or complex projects;
- accurately estimate duration of technical tasks, required resource effort and capability to optimise shared resources across multi stream, large and/or complex projects;
- develop, maintain and control schedules across multi stream, large and/or complex projects, to identify insights to optimise, accelerate delivery or to mitigate potential delivery risks; ability to coach others
- undertake costs and benefits estimation for large and/or complex projects/programs, including the ability to identify actionable insights, cost optimisation and coach others in financial management practices
- accurately forecast project costs and benefits for multi-stream, large and/or complex projects/programs; enabling timely reviews to ensure ongoing investment remains viable, identifying actionable insights; ability to coach others
- manage project benefits and costs against budget, within policy; identifying actionable insights to optimise P&L impacts and future spend for large and/or complex projects/programs; ability to coach others
- proactively manage and mitigate delivery risk for large and/or complex projects/programs, manage inherent risk where risk resolution is not viable; ability to coach others
- proactively manage and mitigate operational risk for impacts for large and/or complex projects/programs, establishing ongoing controls where risk resolution is not viable; ability to coach others

**What do I need?**
- Seasoned with an extended track record in successfully leading and delivering medium/large technology programs/projects with many of the following characteristics:

- Indicative cost up to $20M
- Program/project duration up to 24 months
- Teams typically ranging up to 50 resources
- 7 + years’ experience within projects / programs (minimum of 3 years at Program Manager level)
- 5+ years working in a large and complex organisation
- 5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Experience in Technology Consulting would be highly regarded
- Technical knowledge around Data Deletion / Data Privacy / Records Management would be highly regarded

Education
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
- Certified Practicing Project Director (via AIPM) and/or Program Management Professional (via PMI) and/or Managing Successful Program (MSP) accreditation desirable or internal training mandatory
