Talent International are pleased to partner with a core Victorian Government Department in the search for an Assistant Director - Risk, Assurance and Audit

Directly managing a team of 4 you will also lead and inspire to develop a culture of continuous improvement that will allow the team and Department to achieve its aspirational risk and assurance goals. You will be comfortable in managing a variety of stakeholders including presenting to independent Boards and Risk Committees

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in building and developing a risk capability within a complex matrix organisation. With a background in IT and understanding of the nature of cyber threats and the risk / assurance frameworks that is required to protect businesses you will have gained significant experience within large private or government organisations.
