**The opportunity**
Health Infrastructure (HI) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Legal Officer to provide high-level legal services and expert advice across a range of critical matters. This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of legal decision-making in areas such as commercial and contract law, property transactions, planning, procurement, administrative law, organisational governance, and compliance. With a particular focus on property transactions, including purchases, disposals, compulsory acquisitions, leasing, licensing, and easements, this role is instrumental in shaping key outcomes for HI and NSW communities.
In this pivotal role, you will provide specialist, timely, and client-focused legal advice to support the General Counsel, senior executives, and staff at HI. This will include drafting, reviewing, and finalising transaction documents such as contracts for sale, agreements for lease, easement documents, and property acquisition agreements. As a trusted advisor, you’ll take ownership of legal matters, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive outcomes that align with Health and Government objectives and timeframes.
