Fundraising & Grants Manager

This leading not-for-profit organisation have proudly been serving Australia for over 100 years, they provided care and support services to veterans and aged care communities in throughout NSW and ACT.

As a Fundraising & Grants Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on a wide range of Fundraising, Bequest and Grant activities. This will include but not limited to fundraising events, promotions, donations programs & Club Grants, encompassing both veteran and aged care communities that they support.

**Your new role**

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and adhering to FIA's Code of Conduct.
- Develop fundraising and grants capabilities, considering a wide range of potential opportunities, and implement appropriate systems and processes to manage all fundraising effectively.
- Set clear financial targets for fundraising and manage approved budget spend for a given financial year.
- Create assets required to activate fundraising approaches in collaboration with internal and external partners, maximising impact and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain a fundraising system to manage all activity efficiently and risk-free, collaborating with the Project Management Office.
- Encourage bequests from residents and families to support aged care and veterans long into the future.
- Develop and execute a Grants calendar, working closely with the Veteran Services team and the Communications and Marketing team to secure grant funding.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in journalism, public relations, fundraising & Grants, communications or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record in planning and managing successful fundraising events, while adhering to ethical fundraising principles.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant fundraising & Grants legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and representational skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure collaboration and support for fundraising events and campaigns.
- Proficient in digital media platforms and their management.
