**About the program**:
The Housing programs offer unique and specialist service responses to young people with multiple and complex needs, experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and intersecting the justice system.

**Perry House** is a Specialist Forensic Residential program-based living skills program for young people (17-25) with an intellectual disability who are involved with Youth Justice System.

**Next Steps** is an intensive outreach and support program, incorporating a residential component (**Dillon House**. The program supports marginalised young people (aged 16-24) with multiple and complex needs, who intersect with the Youth or Adult Justice System and are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness

The **Link Program** supports young people who have intersected the Justice System to sustain appropriate and stable housing and access essential supports outside of normal business hours

Supports vary across the programs but all three work innovatively and flexibly to facilitate positive outcomes for marginalised young people, supporting them to live independently and thrive in their community.

**About the role**:
This leadership position oversees the development, implementation, operation and review of Jesuit Social Services’ three housing programs: Perry House, Dillon House and Next Steps, and the Link Youth Justice Housing Program. The position forms part of the Housing and Complex Needs management team.

Salary Range for this role is $115,062 to $119,864 depending on experience and qualifications

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification/s and/or relevant experience in field
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the justice, homelessness and disability sectors and sound understanding of the legislative framework of the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Broad understanding of the issues which may affect people who are in contact with the justice and homelessness systems including physical/mental health, substance use issues, trauma, family breakdown, disrupted education, cultural disconnection, intellectual and/or psycho-social disability.
- Knowledge and experience in appropriate trauma informed interventions/skills and frameworks required to support people with complex needs
- An understanding of the key requirements/elements of residential programs, case management, intensive support and crisis intervention
- Demonstrated capacity to lead, manage and supervise teams including ability to provide support, mentoring and supervision to staff
