**The opportunity**:
Reporting into the Planning Manager, the
**Merchandise Planner** will be part of a small high performing team who act as key commercial planning support to the GM- true right hand supports in decision making. You will work with a numbers of stakeholders within the business, including senior leadership, account management, design, production, planning and logistics; as well as external stakeholders, our customers.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Own the reporting process within your category by providing support to the design and sales team including pre, post and in season analysis to present to stakeholders.
- Liaise with customers and planning team to manage OTB, allocations, stock flow and replenishment.
- Support the category to achieve budgeted sales and gross profit margins.
- Provide regular forecasts, Sales & GP plans, financial and business plants and complete analysis of current and past seasons.
- Update and build reporting tools to enhance financial insights.
- Develop new season Merchandise Plans by brand, category and customer.
- Present weekly, monthly and seasonal planned and ad-hoc reports.
- Own the costing process within your category and provide support to design and sales teams around range build and cost targets.

**The skills and experience you offer us**:

- 3-5 years experience in a Merchandise Planning or an Inventory Management role.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in using analysis to drive business decision making and reporting.
- Capability to plan, read and interpret sales related financial reports.
- You are proactive and customer and team focused.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to data warehouses such as AP21 and SQL would be advantageous.
