**Who we are**
The Digital Enabling Services Branch provides the Digital Services Division (DSD) with program management and assurance, business engagement, human resource services, financial management and reporting, in-house commercial services and assistance in governance and strategic communication matters. The branch is also responsible for the Shared Services Centre which governs the provision of ICT services to participating entities.

The Business Engagement Section is the “front door” into the division for new ICT proposals. The section works closely with other divisions and departments regarding their requests and is responsible for cross collaboration and engagement with all relevant DSD teams to assist with analysis and solution design. Following this early engagement, the section is also responsible for the DSD costing process or Request for Service (RFS).

**The Jobs**
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- working as part of a small team to ensure early engagement of DSD to improve the understanding of business problems and working with the relevant DSD teams and service providers/partners to identify the most appropriate ICT solutions
- identifying opportunities for ICT to improve outcomes for other divisions, including through innovation
- contributing to the completion of costings for ICT solutions detailed in New Policy Proposals (NPPs) and Business Cases
- contributing to, and assisting with the implementation of, process improvements regarding the functions of the Business Engagement Section.

**Please note** that this recruitment process will be used to fill two current vacancies in the Business Engagement Section. The merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the branch where the duties are of a similar nature.
