**ABOUT THE BRANCH**

The Government Services Branch delivers Whole-of-Government services to Commonwealth agencies, including developing and supporting the secure telecommunications and digital collaboration needs of the Australian Government. The branch is responsible for providing and managing:

- GovTEAMS - a comprehensive whole-of-government collaboration service for the Australian Public Service.
- Intra Commonwealth Optical-fibre Network (ICON) - an optical fibre network that links Commonwealth offices throughout Canberra.
- GovLINK - a secure inter-agency communication service that encrypts all nominated traffic, classified up to the PROTECTED level, between agency internet gateways.
- The Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS), delivering services to support the management of parliamentary workflow across government.
- GovAI, a Whole-of-Government pilot aiming to enable the safe and efficient uplift of AI capability and adoption across the APS.

**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**
- GovAI Community Management:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to raise awareness and visibility of the GovAI initiative across the APS.
- Design and implement innovative approaches to grow and retain membership within the GovAI Community, ensuring a vibrant and engaged network.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage active participation, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration among community members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor community engagement metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategic decisions and optimise community growth efforts.
- Pilot Participant Management:

- Identify and recruit a diverse range of participants for the GovAI Pilot, ensuring representation from key APS agencies and departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pilot participants, managing relationships, facilitating communication, and addressing any challenges or concerns that arise.
- Coordinate the collection and analysis of participant feedback to assess the efficacy of the pilot, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that pilot participants receive the necessary support and resources to maximise their involvement in the initiative.
- Leadership:

- Provide advice on engagement strategies to senior stakeholders, contributing to the overall direction and success of the GovAI initiative.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engagement activities with broader project goals and priorities.
- Represent GovAI at forums, workshops, and conferences, acting as an advocate and spokesperson for the initiative within the APS and the beyond.
- Lead and support the engagement team to deliver all engagement activities for GovAI.
