We are seeking an APS6 Strategic Engagement Lead to work for our federal government client, on an initial 12-month contract.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing a wide range of briefs to support the stakeholder engagement activities of the senior executive team.

You will have excellent written communication skills with an ability to quickly grasp and summarise key concepts, supported by a narrative that highlights strategic priorities and intersections with stakeholders’ own digital health agendas.

You will contribute to engagement plans for key program areas and liaise with a diverse range of internal teams to ensure that information on the progress of projects is up to date and accurate for executive briefings. You will also contribute to producing engagement reports and identifying insights to optimise engagement with delivery partners.

Key requirements
- A background in health or communications
- Experience working with key program initiatives, or the ability to quickly gain an understanding of these
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at senior levels
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous government experience would be desirable

This role can be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney with great flexible working options.
