**Our Client**
Our client is a not-for-profit Australian organisation that is a world class leader in their field. The business is continuously growing and are now in need of a permanent full-time Accounts Officer. Based West of the CBD, the team is hard-working and collaborative giving you the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally.

**Description**
The Accounts Officer is primarily responsible for the recording and processing of all tasks relating to debtors and creditor for the business. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

- Preparation and processing of client billing as require
- Process GST compliant invoices and credit notes
- Generate payments for all creditor invoices each week ensuring that payment of invoices is actioned by due date.
- Process manual payment requests
- Perform reconciliation of creditor’s accounts and follow up outstanding supplier statement balances.
- Filing of manual creditors invoices & credit notes
- Responsible for receipting and recording of all income that is received
- Prepare receipts for various clients
- Prepare, process and reconciliation of direct debits that are received into the respective operating bank accounts.
- Process and reconcile bank statements with no outstanding items.
- Ensure end of month and year end procedures are followed.
- Assistance with ad hoc tasks required by the Finance team.
- Daily liaison with service areas and finance team to ensure timely

**Profile**
As an ideal applicant, you will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Your abilities to problem solve and take a proactive approach to managing your work would be demonstrable
- The ability to build and maintain close working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks as required
- The ability to handle private and sensitive information in a strictly confidential manner
- Experience in NetSuite would be highly advantageous
