Our client, a respected and well-know Construction company, is in need of a Temporary Accounts Officer to support their finance team for a 6-month contract duration, due to an exciting new project.

If you are a dedicated, detail-oriented accounting professional who is passionate about numbers, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our client's success and gain valuable experience.

This role is looking to start in the next week, so ideally, you will be immediately available for work to start.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Full AP function - managing invoice matching/processing
- Full AR function - managing aged debtor report and chasing outstanding payments
- End of month and weekly reporting
- Providing finance support to Accountant as required
- End of month reconciliations
- Office support including answering queries, taking phone calls, keeping the kitchen in order and inventory ordering.

**Your Skills & Experience**
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
- At least two years of exceptional accounting experience.
- Brilliant skills in Excel, and prior experience using Sage will be beneficial (not essential)
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Programs.
- Brilliant organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
