Our client is a leading health care provider operating across Australia. Since their establishment, they have grown through deliberate expansion of their facilities, and targeted acquisition of other health care services. They are currently undergoing new systems implementation and are seeking a motivated and driven Accounts Payable Manager to assist in driving the success of this change.

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable function for the organisation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all invoices and payments, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for accounts payable
- Analyse and report on accounts payable data
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Oversee the month-end close process
- Provide guidance and mentor-ship to accounts payable team members

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be successful for this role, you will have:

- Minimum of 5 year's experience in accounts payable management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of accounts payable professionals
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Motivated to drive process improvement
