The State Library of New South Wales is one of Australia's oldest and most important public institutions. **About the Role**
The Facilities Branch operates, maintains and develops the Library's building assets. The primary purpose of this role is to plan, manage and deliver a diverse range of capital works projects to agreed outcomes within time and budget constraints, ensuring that the project work environment is safe, secure and healthy for all building occupants.
**Knowledge and Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Extensive experience in managing capital programs of diverse project types and delivering building related projects of varying size, with an emphasis on buildings which have a heritage component and are multi use public facilities.
- Extensive project planning, management and delivery skills using a contemporary project management methodology together with substantial knowledge of and experience with contract management in a building services context.
**Essential requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
