Technical Consultant

**How will I help?**

HealthPoint Claims is a high-performing platform that processes real-time eligibility, claims and settlement connecting Health & Care Payers, Providers and Customers.

Our team is responsible for the design, build, testing and support of software that we deliver to our healthcare clients in Australia. To support our growth, we are expanding our software development team.

The role of Technical Lead will help deliver and support the HealthPoint service hosted out of AWS, and associated software components across the HealthPoint ecosystem. The role will be part of an existing but growing team distributed across the eastern seaboard, with Infrastructure delivered out of Sydney availability zones. **Experience with InterSystems Cache and a background in Network Infrastructure would be a significant advantage for this position.**

In this role you will:

- Provide professionals services and consulting to our Customers and Channel Partners, such as Network design advice, software installation and configuration, and Network connectivity support.
- Provide technical input, expertise, and guidance to the wider stakeholder group.
- Ensure adherence to service delivery SLA’s.
- Be involved with a range of Technical services, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation of relevant database/software products.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the Evolve network connectivity between our Payers and our Partners.
- Working closely with our product team, business analysts and architects to help set the direction and standards used across the team.
- Implementing and maintaining Server monitoring / operations, and work on multiple projects and maintain regular interactions with various cloud suppliers.

**What do I need?**

Essential:

- 5 or more years of System management, Delivery, and Cloud deployment experience.
- **Hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache and Cloud technologies, ideally AWS but Azure also suitable.**:

- **Strong understanding of Networking Principles, VM Deployment, Linux environment, Database Technologies, and monitoring technologies.**:

- SQL server and Oracle database experience.
- Experience working in the technical aspects of service delivery.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.

Desirable:

- DevOps.
- Linux development, ideally Bash.
- Infrastructure as code.
