Job Title:
Technical Consultant -Intermediate to Senior level; Software - HaloITSM and HaloPSA
Location:
Sydney-based (Will consider Melbourne too)
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled IT Consultant to join our Halo consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to deliver innovative IT solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and business analysis skills. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work in our offices, on customer sites and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into effective IT solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage technology solutions that align with client objectives.
- Configure/build/test/implement customer requirements on the Halo platform (HaloITSM, HaloPSA)
- Lead workshops, deliver presentations, and conduct product demonstrations to stakeholders.
- Manage the client review and sign-off process for project deliverables and documentation.
- Provide leadership and innovation in designing client-centric solutions.
- Document project artefacts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with remote teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, with a strong focus on exceeding client expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, with a blend of technical and business analysis expertise.
- Must have technical expertise and experience with ITSM and/or PSA platforms
- Familiarity with the use of online collaborative tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC
- HaloITSM, and HaloPSA is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in delivering business or technology solutions, from requirements gathering to solution design.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices, preferably Agile methodologies.
- Client-facing experience, including managing expectations, delivering presentations, and running workshops.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong all-round IT skills.
- Industry-recognised certifications are highly desirable.
About You:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with REST API, Webhooks, integrations etc.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically about complex business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive, and disciplined, with a strong attention to detail.
- A passionate, persuasive, and enthusiastic team player with a curiosity to learn and grow.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and embrace continuous evolution.
- Willingness to accept guidance from leads and adopt a flexible, professional approach.
- A customer service-focused mindset, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a sense of fun
- Experience working autonomously and managing expectations in a project-driven environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and lead in solution design.
- A track record of successfully working with remote teams and stakeholders.
