About the Role

We’re seeking a talented, passionate and well-connected Public Relations/Publicty and Communications Manager to join our high performing Marketing team to lead the brand voice and drive publicity across MCoBeauty and ModelCo.

The role is best suited to someone who has demonstrated experience across both traditional and digital PR/Publicity. Key to this role is having existing, strong relationships with mediawithin the beauty, fashion and lifestyle industries.

This role is also responsible for ideation and execution of compelling, engaging and effective communications. You will be researching and generating relevant, sophisticated and interesting content trends that align with consumers and the overall business strategy.

This key role will support the business in all local and international PR, product launches and events.
- Extensive experience in the Beauty PR and Communications industry.

- Personal and established relationships and contacts with Beauty Media

- Excellent communications and copywriting skills

- Highly computer literate, with exceptional skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint

- Planning and executing 360 degree communications campaigns

- Ability to deliver positive media outcomes in a competitive beauty landscape

- Highly motivated and results driven individual

Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the communication strategy for the business globally

- Plan public relations initiatives to support campaigns, content and marketing calendars

- Liaise and maintain strong relationships with beauty, lifestyle and news media

- Drive and accelerate communication opportunities with all media

- Negotiate and manage all qualitative PR strategies, editorial placements, and dedicated agreements

- Monitor and analyse press coverage Nationally and Internationally and provide monthly report and ROI

- Execute content and communication strategies to ensure products and brand placement targets are set for both print & digital

- Proactively promote new and existing ModelCo and MCoBeauty products to Press and respond to Press requests and product send-outs

- Write copy for press releases, eDMs, website and packaging

- Oversee the brand TOV is maintained across all assets

Your success in this role will be dependent on the following skills & experience:
- 5+ years’ beauty experience, either in-house or agency

- A passion for the beauty and fashion industry and an entrepreneurial spirit

- Proven experience in PR/media relations, communications, or a related discipline

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong understanding and experience in content writing

- The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines on a weekly basis

- Highly organised with the ability to forecast and forward plan

- You will be our brand voice, so you must be confident, full of creative ideas and ready to action in heartbeat
