Wellbeing Lead

Through our digital products Lifeline provides Australians with crisis support, information, resources and support so that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

**This will involve**:

- A deep understanding of mental health, and the lived experience of mental health for Australians
- Experience with content production
- The ability to communicate clinical terms and ideas in an easy to understand, plain language that makes sense for everyday Australians
- Understanding the mental health ecosystem in Australia
- Research and synthesis of mental health information, ideas and concepts from across the sector
- Working with internal teams to produce content, resources, lived-experience stories and frameworks
- Organise and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Working with copywriters, providing feedback, guidance and support (including co-creating) content ready for publication
- Researching competitors and adjacent product offerings across the mental health ecosystem to identify gaps, trends and best practice
- Working with product managers to deliver on product roadmaps
- Support the Digital Product team in the delivery of other initiatives from time to time
- Working with other experts across our Crisis Services and Research functions to align frameworks and insights.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent work packages, from planning through to implementation
- Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- A proven ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team or under your own initiative and adapt quickly to a changing environment
- High level of organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritise and achieve deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to facilitate project delivery, manage barriers and support change within the Lifeline network.
- Display a positive, can-do attitude, personal drive and integrity
- Demonstrate sound judgement and an awareness of reputation and branding implications for work or key messages that Lifeline delivers on a national scale.
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment and passion for working towards a suicide free Australia.
- Undergraduate degree in psychology or counselling, or equivalent experience
- Professional qualifications in writing, communication or media, or equivalent experience

**The following will be advantageous but not essential**:

- A high-level of computer literacy, including experience working with
- Cloud based tools such as Google Docs and Microsoft Teams
- Information management systems such as Notion
- Collaboration tools such as Figma
- Publishing and communication tools such as Powerpoint/Keynote, Word/Pages and content management systems
- Creating, or working with others to create public-facing content to support the mental health of Australians
- Experience providing counselling or clinical advice/services
