**Description**:
About You
We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated, technically minded person who has excellent customer service, problem solving, software, computer literacy and locksmithing skills and knowledge. You will have an enthusiastic approach, ability to work as part of a team and possess excellent phone communication and problem-solving skills.
Your broad responsibilities will include
- Provide telephone support for locksmithing equipment, software and tools
- Handle requests for advice and assistance from customers and staff relating to locksmithing software or hardware installation, use, configuration and troubleshooting
- Undertake repairs and service to customer key machinery or devices, either onsite or at our premises
- Identify sales opportunities by suggesting new/alternative products.
- Build customer support and loyalty by providing continuous and high levels of customer service.
- Increase sales through relationship building, promotion of LSC products and services.
**Skills and Experiences**:
To be successful in the role, you will possess
- A broad knowledge of computer software and hardware gained through two years of experience with IT systems; locksmithing industry experience is highly desirable
- A minimum 2 years of experience in the locksmith industry or a related discipline.
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through attitude and a natural aptitude for this kind of work.
- Aptitude/experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical repair desirable.
- Aptitude/experience with automotive key programming and technologies desirable.
- Commitment to high quality customer service principles.
- A good telephone manner demonstrated patience with customers and the ability to understand problems communicated by telephone.
- Proven ability to quickly and efficiently analyse problems and to propose solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to organise their own time efficiently and is able to work to deadlines and established targets.
- Computer literate, with a broad understanding of operating systems and networking, and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
