**About the Role**:
Icon Cancer Centre South Brisbane is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate and confidential management of patient health records to support quality patient care. This fixed-term part-time role involves 30 hours per week, working six-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Shifts will alternate between mornings (7 am-1 pm) and afternoons (12 pm-6 pm).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently scan and organize patient correspondence into electronic records
- Retrieve and distribute medical records for inpatient admissions and appointments
- Sort and file medical records within filing bays or compactus units
- Maintain record registers and create new treatment plans and charts
- Assist in culling records for secondary storage

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Friendly, professional demeanour both in person and over the phone
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and meticulously
- Prior experience in clerical or administrative roles in healthcare is beneficial
- Previous experience in medical records management is highly advantageous
