**Casual Position but will lead to Permanent Part Time Position - Minimum 30 hours per fortnight for the right person**

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for an enthusiastic and motivated Hospital Receptionist who excels in customer service. This position is in a permanent part-time capacity, and will involve working on a rotating seven day roster with flexible working hours. Weekends are only require one in seven.

For this position you must be passionate about being in the front line dealing with the public and enjoy a varied and very fast paced administration role. It is essential that applicants have excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and work as an effective team member.
- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
- Experience in a Hospital Reception environment is an advantage
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency in Meditech or similar system advantageous
- Adherence to deadlines and ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain good working relations with other
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position
- Ensure adherence to policies, which protect patient privacy and confidentiality of health information, therefore safeguarding against access by unauthorised individuals
- Monitor and alert management of medical record deficiencies, ensuring data recorded is accurate and complete
- Participate in the implementation of medical record policies
- Support other administration areas within the hospital

**Requirements**:
