**The Opportunity**

Inspired by the services of great hotels, this developer offers contemporary luxury living purposefully designed for the rental market. Featuring high quality apartments, private onsite amenity, professionally managed services and events programs for residents. They look to fosters a strong sense of community within the building and provides an ultra-convenient lifestyle for residents.

**The Role**

The General Manager role is to essentially manage a team located in Southbank and Richmond in a beautiful building with amazing facilities, heated pool, artwork throughout from bespoke artists, a dining room, cinema room, gym, yoga room etc. which can be rented. There is also AU79 (café) and a restaurant at the bottom of the building its idea is based on a New York style apartment block.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Team management of 6 including Assistant General Manager
- Work closely with leasing, events, and facilities manager
- Responsible for asset reporting, staff management & engagement, asset plan, budgets, and rostering
- Collaborating with marketing & leasing for events and other initiatives
- Overseeing multiple buildings in Southbank and Richmond over time
- Sales in real estate and student housing background
- Effective business planning & management skills
- Demonstrate integrity and build trust
- Fosters openness and transparency with teams
- Leadership and People Management - set and track KPI's, Performance feedback and coaching
- Outstanding communication skills
- Professional and seamlessly put together negotiations and build rapport
- Inspire people through change
