Student Absentee Officer

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable administration
professional to fill the role of Absentee Officer. This role will be responsible for the
entry and monitoring of student absences each morning and communicating with
parents and staff.
This is a part-time, term-time role for 22.5 hours per week. The successful
applicant will work from 8:00am - 12:30pm, Monday to Friday.

**Selection criteria**
1. A happy, positive demeanour.
2. The ability to work effectively as a part of a small, dedicated team.
3. Effective problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will need to
demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
5. Have a detailed understanding of the College’s School Management System
(TASS) or the ability to become familiar with the system.
6. The ability to adapt to changing priorities within a busy, student and family
focused environment.
7. The ability to effectively utilise the contemporary range of office technologies
to perform the role.
8. The ability to obtain a Positive Notice (Blue Card) for child-related
employment in Queensland.
