Lux Design Group is a well established fashion importer / wholesaler located in the heart of South Yarra.

We design and develop apparel for major retailers in Australia, The other arm of our business we have three in
- house fashion labels that are selling throughout Australia and NZ.

We are very excited for the expansion across our accounts and our fashion brands, we are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our team.

The position of Production Manager is responsible for:

- Dealing directly with all Factories on a daily basis.
- Prepare parcels for the buyers and factories, arrange pickups and drop offs.
- Follow up AD samples with factories and keep he buyer updated on status
- Assist QC bulk in busy periods as required
- Working closely with fellow team members ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Meeting time lines of the retail buyers and factories ensuring orders are delivered on time.
- Running sales reports when required by management
- Invoices uploaded to customers including packing lists
- Setting up deliveries to DC booking request
- Working with our freight forwarder ensuing shipment and delivery dates are maintained and met
- Follow up product development from all factories, keeping buyers updated as needed.
- Hand over product development style sheets, samples, swatches for costing with factories
- Manage production process inhouse, including overseas suppliers
- Managing submissions and order processes
- Daily communication with overseas suppliers and local buyers, artwork, styling, trims, labels
- Setting up WIP spreadsheets per range, per season
- Tracking samples pre production
- Attending buyers meeting when needed

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

- Ideally, you will have 3 to 4 years experience in production Management
- You will have strong computer suite skills
- You will be high driven with ambition to succeed
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to stream line processes for better outcomes for all parties
- You enjoy working in a small team dynamic
- Effective time management skill set
- Very strong focus on attention to detail
