**About your new role**
As the Board & Company Secretariat Officer, your role will provide comprehensive and discreet assistance to the Board of Directors, the Group Leadership Team (GLT) and The Legal & Company Secretariat team. You will assist to manage our Board, Committee and JV meetings, logistics and processes, ensuring confidentiality, strong communication streams and prioritisation to critical meetings. Whilst providing exceptional administrative support to the Group Company Secretary, the role will also require that you collaborate with other teams and functions as well as the support roles to all the GLT, regulators and our directors.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Provide exceptional secretariat and admin services to the Group Company Secretary and the Board by preparing detailed meeting calendars and processes, overseeing the Board and committee calendars and forward plans, travel management, and expenses management, invoice processing and other office duties.
- Prepare, maintain and distribute high quality, confidential documentation and other relevant information for the support committee(s) including minutes, actions and decisions and provide ongoing advice through appropriate methods
- Develop positive, collaborative working relationships with Directors, Executives and their supporting teams
- Using high level judgement and communication skills, you will co-ordinate and facilitate internal and external stakeholder (eg regulatory bodies) meetings including preparation and distribution of documentation.
- Ensure compliance with The Star Entertainment Group Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role working with Boards of Directors or Executive Teams
- Experience working in an environment with complex regulatory requirements an advantage
- Experience working in a company secretariat support environment desirable mandatory
- Excellent Communication and written communication skills
- Displays a sense of urgency, yet possesses an eye for detail
- A relevant tertiary and/or governance qualification or qualifications in a related discipline from a recognised educational institution will be well regarded.
- Experience using Diligent BoardBooks, mandatory
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills, and intermediate Excel skills
