Overview:
Our engineering consulting client is seeking a Civil Supervisor and a Civil Superintendent (Earthworks) to be working on their end client’s iron ore project. Initial contract is 12 months and the FIFO roster is 2x1. Details of the role as follows:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the team to complete the works in accordance with work plans.
- Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
- Develop & promote good communication between all personnel.
- Plan, organise & direct materials handling & housekeeping in a safe & cost-efficient manner ensuring productivity.
- Team development, mentoring & management as required.
- Leading improvements in efficiency & productivity

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working on Rio Tinto mine sites (preferrable)
- Previous experience working with a EPCM (essential)
- Current C class driver’s license
- Section 44 certificate
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience managing earthworks packages
- Strong occupational health & safety knowledge including a proactive focus on safety.
- Ability to maintain positive client relationships.
