Connect Resources are a WA owned and operated recruitment company. We specialise mainly in Civil Construction and Mining, for both blue-collar trades and white-collar professional roles. Due to our continued growth into these markets, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a permanent
**Supervisor** to join the business for a major client, either metro or FIFO based.

**Your responsibilities**
- Perform pre-start and tool-box meetings
- Engage with the crew and organise day-to-day
- Support the crew with managing and planning workload and performance
- Manage sub-contractors and site workers
- Carry out hazard and safety inspections and ensure environmental targets are met
- Ensure paperwork and documentation is completed to report to client and Project Manager/Superintendent or equivalent
- Complete cost control and maintain budget where applicable

**Mining Shift Supervisors**
**will ideally have the following**
- 5 years experience in mining Supervision and a strong background in mining operations
- Knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
- WA Underground Shift Supervisor ticket (for Underground works)
- Full WA Driver’s License (Manual)
- Australian working rights
- Operator tickets are highly desirable, but not essential
- National Police Clearance within 12 months (or willing to obtain)
- HR license (desirable)
- Section 44 (desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills

**Civil Supervisors**
**will ideally have the following**
- 5 years experience in civil works on civil construction or on mine sites
- Degree or certificate in Civil Construction or equivalent (desirable)
- White card
- Section 44 (desirable)
- Full WA's Driver's License
- Australian working rights
- Operator tickets are highly desirable, but not essential
- Strong safety orientation and knowledge of HSEQ requirements
- MRWA experience highly desirable
