We now have an exciting opportunity for a result-oriented talent to join our Health & Biosciences Team as Technical Sales Manager Fresh Fermented, Cultures and Dairy Enzymes Australia and New Zealand.

This position can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne in Australia and will report into the ANZ Sales Leader for Health and Biosciences.

**Your Focus**

Responsible for the Fresh Fermented Cultures and Dairy Enzymes business in Australia and New Zealand, the Technical
- Sales Manager role requires strong prospecting and technical selling skills and principal responsibilities include:

- Achieve/exceed sales targets
- Develop a robust opportunity pipeline by identifying and cultivating target accounts
- Establish / maintain strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with internal functions (e.g. Innovation, Application, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory) to drive conversion of business leads

The role will see you engage with customers in Commercial, Marketing, Technical and Application discussions. The portfolio scope will be Cultures for Fresh Fermented and plant based as well as our Dairy Enzymes portfolio.

**How You Will Contribute**
- Achieve Sales Targets and Business Objectives within ANZ in line with the Cultures and Dairy Enzymes Business objective, strategy and Annual Sales Budget Plan.
- Develop Account strategy and execute plans for key accounts.
- Understand needs and challenges of customers, build and manage strategic relationships at key accounts.
- Develop new business and new accounts through strong knowledge of the industry and proper follow-up of the customers’ expectations
- Successfully commercialize new opportunities developing differentiated and innovative solutions through all stages of the sales process.
- Develop and/or deliver customer innovation sessions and presentations
- Maintain up to date knowledge on market developments and trends, competitive intelligence etc., to ensure relevance of market strategy.
- Maintain updated CRM and monthly forecast

**What you will need to be successful**
- Bachelor’s degree (Master preferred) in food technology, food engineering or related Science degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales related to the food industry
- Expertise in customer engagement and key account management.
- Existing network and expertise in the ANZ dairy industry
- Proven value selling and negotiation skills, ability to influence.
- Effective listening, verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- High drive and self-motivated, flexible and good agility in a global business environment.
- Willingness to travel within Oceania
