**Essential Job Functions**
- Provides external client-facing consulting services within a technology-focused practice (e.g. Data/Database, Security, Network, Product, Technical Architecture).
- Demonstrates specialization in functional or technical discipline while designing and delivering solutions to address client needs across domains of change.
- Supports staff development through mentoring and coaching of other consultants and the creation and development of intellectual capital.
- Meets personal utilization and revenue goals through strong delivery ability and relevant skillsets.
- Interacts with confidence and ease when interacting with middle
- and senior-level managers (client and company); uses complex strategies like indirect influence to build consensus and support.
- Assists sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals.
- Contributes to growing the business by identifying new business opportunities in the practice area and selling the organization's capabilities in various markets.
- Communicates in formal presentation settings including proposal orals, client workshops and regional internal events; develops proposal sections, methodology work products and formal written deliverables covering area(s) of expertise.
- Assists in the selection and hiring of employees. Trains, motivates and evaluates employees to enhance staff performance and develop employees. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or related field preferred
- Six or more years of industry or client relationship experience
- Three or more years of relevant consulting experience included
- Two or more years of leadership experience
- Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in area of responsibility

**Other Qualifications**
- Good communication and consulting skills
- Leadership skills to coach and guide less experienced personnel
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Ability to use own judgment and take initiative in problem resolution
- Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business and/or technical problems
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment
- Ability to devise creative business and/or technical solutions
- Willingness to travel

**Work Environment**
- Office environment
- May require evening or weekend work
