**Description**:
Greg Eurell Thoroughbred Training Centre has had a rare opportunity come up at our busy stables located in Cranbourne. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Trainer to join our team. Reporting directly to Greg Eurell (our Head Trainer) the following skills and requirements are essential.
- Proven ability to handle young and older horses
- Excellent horsemanship skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and proven experience to train and educate young and older horses
- Experience in treating and managing minor injuries
- Ability to maintain and prepare horse health/work records, track work schedules and training programs
- Proven ability to operate and maintain hazardous equipment such as the treadmill and walker
- Strong level of English skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and roster a great team of dedicated staff
- Flexibility to work early morning, afternoons and/or weekend shifts (as per the rotating roster requires)
- Jump Out/Official Trials/Race Day attendance to represent the stable to both owners and the media
