ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Team Lead, the Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance across the prison with all business units as dictated by current Operational Instructions, policies, procedures and relevant quality systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES

**The core responsibilities of this role are to**:

- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Act as an authorized signatory as necessary.
- Recommend changes to the internal Audit schedule to reflect risk status and changing management priorities
- Completes audit reports by documenting audit assessments and findings
- Carry out other tasks as directed by the Team Lead and Quality, Risk & Compliance Manager.

**The essential requirements from you**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with QA processes.
- Experience working within high-risk, people based organisations.
- Demonstrated auditing experience.
- Excellent report writing and written communication skills.
- Strong resilient nature to deliver constructive support on a daily basis.
- Ability to show resilience in a highly pressurised environment.
