It has reviewed its situation and capabilities, confirmed its mission, vision and purpose and is now ready to ‘put the pedal to the metal’. But first, it needs the right leader to fine tune its engine, build and enthuse a fabulous pit stop team and drive this ambitious unit to success.

Accomplished in collaboratively producing and evaluating short to long-term strategies to set and meet financial targets, you are an articulate and affable seasoned professional with substantial ‘runs on the board’, ideally in a medical/research environment, who is looking for a special opportunity.

Your record of delivering results by developing and running complex, multiple-channelled fundraising programs is exemplary. And, as a proven engagement specialist, you’re especially skilled at striking that special rapport on which strong and enduring relationships are built with people of wide diversity.

This unique, pivotal role has the potential to make a huge difference to the success and reputation of world renowned scientific research originating in South-East Queensland. And - in the process -will certainly add cachet to your reputation as an outstanding people-centric, fundraising strategist and operational specialist.

If you have the right attitude and substantial experience with contemporary, integrated fundraising programs that deliver financial results and year-on-year growth within time and budget, then you’ll already be perfectly aware of what’s required in this inaugural leadership role.

Supporting that knowledge with abundant energy, enthusiasm, an interest in medical developments, calmness and an even temperament, you should be confident you can design, manage, staff and “sell” an outstanding, complex, very contemporary fundraising program in accordance with relevant legislation.
