**About the Role**:
As a Rail Network Coordinator, you will be based within our IROC Rail Control team taking ownership for the safety of our people in the field, achieving schedules and requirements are fulfilled to provide mentoring and leadership within the Rail Control team.
Reporting to the Supervisor Production Rail, your duties will be ensuring that the rail safety management plan is adhered too and daily train schedules met, this resulting in an ongoing supply of iron ore from the Mines to the Ports whilst providing for safe operations for track maintenance, signals and communication maintenance team.
Our Rail Network Coordinators provide interaction with customers and service providers within the business.
**About You**:
As the successful applicant, you will ideally possess the following:
- Scheduling or rail control experience will be highly desirable
- Strong Detail Orientation and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to manage risk of execution works while being responsible for others
- Ability to develop scopes for execution of works and effectively communicate this to others
- Interpersonal and people management skills with a range of audiences
- Computer literacy with Microsoft suite, 1SAP and planning systems
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Administration and prioritization including time management capability
- Ability to build positive and sustaining relationships
- Sound judgement including balancing competing issues
- Ability to identify and prevent risks and manage change in a challenging environment
- Analytical problem solver who enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement and proactively solving them
