**About the Role**
Join a team of researchers working on improving the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, including programs to address intergenerational trauma, through service and system changes. This role is expected to contribute to supporting the implementation of a program of research and work as part of an Aboriginal-led interdisciplinary research team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers.

You will benefit from working with an outstanding national and international network of investigators, partners and community members collaborating to co-design and implement a highly innovative and transformative program of work: Replanting the Birthing Trees. You will also be instrumental to supporting the implementation of system changes to perinatal services, working in partnership with The Royal Women’s Hospital and the Mercy Hospital for Women.

Responsibilities include:

- Liaising with key stakeholders in partner organisations to foster engagement and ensure meaningful two-way communication
- Recording, and setting up templates to support recording of implementation activities, barriers and facilitators across the two sites
- Collation of data on implementation for Replanting the Birthing Trees project, and sharing with project team
- Working collaboratively across research, community and clinical teams

**About You**
In this role, you will be able to demonstrate and further develop a high degree of responsibility, self-motivation, organisation and communication skills (written and oral). You thrive in a team environment and can work co-operatively, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships. You have the initiative to set priorities, meet deadlines, initiate and follow up actions with mínimal supervision.

You will also have:

- A background and/or experience in one or more in maternal, child or family care, community health, Indigenous health, epidemiology or public health, health or allied health (e.g. psychology, medicine, nursing/midwifery), quantitative social science or related disciplines
- Experience and/or demonstrated understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience in working with multiple partners and teams
