**Your next career opportunity**
As an Indigenous Health Leadership Project Officer at the University of Melbourne Poche Centre, you'll play a crucial role in fostering the next generation of Indigenous leaders in health. You'll have the opportunity to support and deliver innovative leadership programmes, contribute to cutting-edge research, and engage with a diverse network of stakeholders. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact on Indigenous health outcomes whilst developing your own skills in a supportive, values-driven environment.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Support Leadership Programme Delivery**: Assist in all aspects of the Indigenous Health Leadership Program, from recruitment to evaluation.
- **Engage with Stakeholders**: Establish and maintain an active Community of Practice, engaging alumni and wider stakeholders to build partnerships and mentoring opportunities.
- **Promote Centre Initiatives**: Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to effectively market and promote the Centre's work and events

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are a dynamic individual with a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant field, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures, and health issues.

**You may also**:

- Have extensive knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, leadership, and relevant social and political issues.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Be able to work autonomously and adapt to changing demands.
- Have experience in the higher education sector or familiarity with the University of Melbourne's structure and objectives.
- Show a commitment to the Faculty values of Collaboration, Compassion, Respect, Integrity, and Accountability.

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences has an enviable research record and is the University of Melbourne’s largest faculty in terms of management of financial resources, employment of academic and professional staff, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate (including research higher degree) students and the conduct of basic and applied research.
