The Research & Insights Analyst will be responsible for providing reporting, research and insights into the performance of Nine's Digital and Publishing brands to key stakeholders within the company to assist in the growth of audience reach & revenue within the competitive digital and publishing marketplace.
The role sits within the broader Sales Research & Insights team who assist to provide insights across all of Nine’s media assets including Total TV and Total Audio.
**Day to day you will**:
- Analyse site traffic and find patterns of behaviour that can be leveraged to maximise advertising revenue
- Produce and maintain audience reports and dashboards
- Conduct internal Ad Effectiveness research studies for Nine’s clients including scripting surveys, analysing the data and building presentations of the results
- Use data from industry research tools such as Ipsos Iris Digital Ratings, Roy Morgan, OzTAM and VOZ to provide information to the sales teams for inclusion in proposals and responses to advertising client briefs and to help business strategy
**Qualifications**
You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly.
You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.
**What we would like to see on your resume**:
- A passion for media especially across digital, publishing and TV brands
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to disseminate relevant and actionable insights from research and data
- Strong presentation and written communication skills, honed from a relevant Tertiary Degree
- A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across internal teams
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines
- The use of industry measurement tools (e.g. Ipsos Iris Digital Ratings, Roy Morgan) and survey analysis tools (e.g. Qualtrics and Q) is beneficial, not essential
