Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Senior Human Resources Adviser on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

**Position Overview**

As a Senior HR Adviser, you will undertake work that is complex and operate under broad direction. Your highly developed organisational skills, ability to prioritise and excellent attention to detail will ensure you can operate in our ever-changing environment. You will have a demonstrated record of sound judgement, a high degree of initiative and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters. You will have supervisory responsibilities as part of this role

**Primary Job Purpose**

With an understanding of the dynamics of HR issues, the duties and responsibilities of this position will require you to:

- Undertake a broad range of HR functions including recruitment and onboarding, learning and development, payroll and remuneration, HR analytics and HR systems
- Provide staffing and personnel administration services in support of the NBA's HR policies and programs
- Provide consistently sound advice on complex and sensitive HR issues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and projects
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice HR policies and services to maximise organisational effectiveness
- Prepare papers, briefs, presentations and correspondence
- Partner and build effective relationships and negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to NBA organisational strategy and culture and
- Work in a collaborative manner as a member of a team and across the NBA

- The successful applicant must have a Baseline Clearance
- The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen
