An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Compliance Officer. The Principal Compliance Officer, Capital Assets and Infrastructure (CAI) provides senior leadership and high-level risk management skills in ensuring that the portfolio compliance framework is appropriate, effective and efficiently used to identify and manage compliance risks observed across the CAI portfolio in line with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) approved compliance management policy, procedures and methodologies.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Contribute to the achievement of the CAI portfolio strategic and operational objectives.
Build and maintain cooperative internal and external relationships in the pursuit of compliance obligations.
Develop and implement compliance policies, initiatives, and procedures that align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring these updated policies are communicated effectively throughout CAI and Infrastructure and the whole of SCHHS.
Conduct risk assessments by assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities within the portfolio's operations and processes, identifying where compliance breaches may occur, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
