**About the Role**:
The General Service Lead will support all planned and preventative maintenance including general building works across multiple premium grade buildings in the CBD. Responsible for overseeing a team of tradespeople (Local and Interstate), ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in line with service level agreements.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee general building works, including carpentry, maintenance, and repairs.
- Manage and supervise Internal trades / External Subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
- Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out within the required timeframes and in line with KPI objectives.
- Update and maintain the work order management system with accurate job completion details, status updates, and asset information.
- Liaise with clients to provide clear communication and exceptional service, resolving any concerns related to general building works.
- Report into the Account Manager
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of works to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure smooth delivery of services and report on the status of ongoing works.
- Assist with minor building repairs and maintenance tasks when needed, using your carpentry skills.

**Your experience**:

- Carpentry trade qualification with proven experience in general building maintenance and repairs.
- Previous experience leading or supervising tradespeople in a maintenance or building environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building works or related fields.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting KPI and performance targets.
- Strong understanding of building safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage both internal teams and client expectations.

**Requirements**:

- Current National Police Check clearance (or willing to obtain one)
- WHS/OHS Induction Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- COVID-19 Vaccinated (at least three preferably)

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Working at Heights
- Qualified trade skill
- First Aid

As this position is within the Sydney CBD, with tools at each site, there is an option to not drive and use public transport to access central points with ease. The client has some other benefits they offer those working on-site, making it an extra appealing and welcoming place to work.
