We are seeking an experienced Permanent Part Time / Casual, All Rounder Catering assistant to join our team at our University Residential Dining Room in North Adelaide.

Reporting to the Chef Manager, your role is to ensure our students, staff and guests have the opportunity to enjoy their meals in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere with excellent food service and quality.

**What This Role Involves**:

- Assisting with food preparation e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads
- Front of house waitered meal service
- Friendly customer service
- Plating and serving meals to our diverse customers
- Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen & dining areas
- Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences
- Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices
- Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
- Front of House service experience an advantage
- Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
- Reliability and availability for various days and hours
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- First class food safety practices
- Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods
