**Description**:
**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Casual All-Rounder Catering Assistant with front of house experience to join our team at the University Residential Dining Room in North Adelaide.
Reporting to the Chef Manager, your role will be to ensure that students, staff, and guests enjoy their meals in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere with exceptional food service.
**Roster**:

- Various dinner shifts available from Monday to Sunday, as well as morning shifts on weekends (approximately 16-24 hours per week).
- Monday and Wednesday evening availability is essential.

**What This Role Involves**:

- Providing front-of-house waitered meal service
- Delivering friendly and efficient customer service.
- Assisting with food preparation, such as peeling/chopping vegetables, and making sandwiches and salads.
- Assisting with the preparation and service of functions and conferences.
- Following strict food hygiene, security, and safety practices.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience in all aspects of kitchen operations and service.
- Front-of-house service experience (availability for Monday and Wednesday evenings is essential).
- The ability to organize tasks effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliability and flexibility for various shifts and hours.
- A motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong food safety knowledge and practices.
- The ability to comply with OH&S and food safety standards.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment during peak service periods.
