**About the role**
Based on recent project awards for resource sector work in the Pilbara, we are actively seeking a **Structures Supervisor (FRP)** to oversee and deliver packages work associated with structures and tunnel installation works for one of WA’s Tier 1 mining operators.
Working a 2:1 FIFO roster and reporting to our Structures Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading an established team on an 18-month planned project.
Offered as a **full time and permanent position**, you will be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Structures Superintendent and other key stakeholders in delivering your allocated work scope safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Actively drive safe outcomes in undertaking all activities by ensuring that the BMD safety and cultural behaviours are applied by the team
- Contribute to and support short and medium-term planning and scheduling for your works area with respect to the overall project requirements
- Work closely with all other stakeholders across the Project site in achieving required outcomes
- Effectively planning works in your allocated area
- Manage and lead direct labour teams as well as contracting groups
- Provide a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the overall success of the project
**About you**
Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills. You may also:
- Have 5 years+ supervisory experience ideally within the construction and/or resources sector
- Previous structures, concrete and/or FRP experience
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
- Proven communicator who can lead and positively influence those around them.
