**About the centre**

Carlton Baths is an oasis amongst building in the busy suburb of Carlton. We run a wide range group fitness classes each week, our 25 metre outdoor pool is open from October to April each year, we offer summer swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, and facilitate a range of children's sporting and developmental programs in a safe and engaging environment. We pride ourselves on diversity, inclusion and service.

**About the role**

As the Health & Fitness Coordinator you will lead the Health and Wellness teams including Gym Instructors, Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors. In this role you will also be responsible for developing the offerings to suit the community’s needs. This will also include being involved in member retention, acquisition and sales. You will be responsible for promoting the benefits of physical activity within the community and contributing to the centre operations. Ensuring that the Carlton Baths Community Centre meets a high standard of health and wellness service will also be a key deliverable of this role. You will lead, inspire, and motivate their team through clear and achievable team goals and support high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.

You will also assist the Manager by working as part of the Manager on Duty roster, where they provide support to customers and staff across all areas of the facility.

This is a full time position with a salary of $60,803 + Super.

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum Certificate III in Fitness
- Current registration with Fitness Australia

**Other Desired Qualifications**
- Leadership experience
- Relevant diploma or equivalent
- Sport and Recreation and / or Facility Operations experience
