Injury Management and HSW Partner
to join our dynamic team and make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
In this critical role, you will be responsible for both
injury management
and supporting a positive
Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW)
culture across our organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Injury Management & Return to Work
- Coordinate and manage workers' compensation and non-work-related injury cases
- Lead return-to-work (RTW) processes, liaising with employees, managers, medical providers and WorkCover agents
- Manage compensation payments, PIAWE, and payroll reconciliations
- Maintain accurate case files, injury management plans and documentation
- Provide expert advice and support to leaders managing injured or ill employees
- Ensure compliance with WIRC legislative requirements and organisational policies
Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Support
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across the organisation
- Partner with OHV stakeholders and external providers
- Support and drive wellbeing initiatives and HSW campaigns
- Participate in incident investigations, quality and safety walks, and workplace risk assessments
- Contribute to HSW Committees and internal HSW Networks
- Report on injury trends, claims performance and safety statistics
What You'll Bring
- Experience in injury management, RTW coordination, or workers' compensation case management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g. WIRC Act)
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to measure the success of injury prevention, management and Return to Work initiatives
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting people through recovery
- Certificate IV in Cert IV Personal Injury Management (Return to Work) is desirable
- Return to Work Coordinator certification is desirable
- Certificate IV in WHS/OHS is desirable (Diploma highly regarded)
