**Division Responsibilities**

As part of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Group, Portfolio Investment Division (PID)

provides support to Health through a range of financial and budget management services

and advice, property and asset management, and other corporate services, including shared

services for the health portfolio.

**Branch Responsibilities**

The Corporate and Financial Services Branch has operational responsibility for providing

cost-effective corporate services including payroll, invoice processing, the call and

information centre, key corporate contract management and portfolio wide committee and

board appointments advice. Many of these services are provided to clients across the health

portfolio in conjunction with other departments and private sector suppliers.

**Section Responsibilities**

The Payroll Section provides the Department and portfolio agencies with timely and

accurate payroll, travel and financial processing services. The team works closely with both

the People and Finance Branches to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with

relevant policies and guidelines.***

**Key Responsibilities**

The occupant of this position undertakes work associated with the administration and

interpretation of conditions of service matters and entitlements for a range of employees

including processing of pay and entitlements variations.

The occupant is responsible for the following:

- Process payroll variations using SAP for clients from multiple agencies.***
- Provide advice and respond to employee enquiries relating to entitlements and

conditions of service.
- Identify and assist in the development of improved procedures in the work area.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing relating to user enhancements and updates.***
