My Care Living is seeking a dedicated **experienced Disability Support Worker** to assist our client in Bundamba, QLD. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a compassionate, professional environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality care. **Due to the client’s personal care needs (e.g., bathing, dressing, peg feeding), this role requires an experienced support worker to provide high intensity care.** We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who takes initiative and has a genuine passion for care.

As a Support Worker, your role will be dynamic and rewarding:

- Assist clients with daily personal needs, including personal care tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, peg feeding and manual handling, high intensity care).
- Participate in social activities and help clients build skills they’re passionate about.
- Work with clients who have challenging behaviors, collaborating with psychologists and behavior specialists to implement strategies and learn about behavior management.
- Represent the My Care Living brand by facilitating care plans and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our team and customers.

**The Essentials for This Role**
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- First Aid/CPR certificate.
- High Intensity care experience
- Peg feeding, catheter change
- Experience in manual handling (e.g., using hoists).
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic situations.
- Valid driver’s license and confident driving.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Commitment to attending team meetings and training.

**Required**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Experience in disability support or aged care.
- Ability to conduct environmental risk assessments.
