As Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be responsible for Caterpillar, Dealer and Customer performance levels to corporate targets for inventory reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved order-to-delivery results. You will facilitate Caterpillar, Dealer and Customer efforts to develop and implement the end to end SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Processes) in the areas of data, process, and technology. Leads PRISM (Proactive Integrated Supply Management) to implement and monitor compliance for SIOP aligned with CPS Supply Chain Process Manual and the CPS Supply Chain Rules.
**Job Duties**:
- PRISM Development
- Collaborate with Dealers, Customers, and Caterpillar to develop data and process automation for PRISM Level 1 (Visibility) and Level 2 (Planning).
- Collaborate with Dealers, Customers, and Caterpillar with Customers to identify and prioritize Level 3 (Optimization).
- Process owner of Sales, Inventory & Operations (SIOP) process & playbooks.
- Process owner of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process for KPIs.
**Caterpillar, Dealer & Customer On-Boarding**
- PRISM Level 1 (Visibility).
- PRISM Level 2 (Planning).
- Train Cat Hub Managers & Dealers during Readiness & Implementation of Dealer Supply Review & Integrated Supply Review.
- Train Customers during Readiness & Implementation on Demand Review and Hub Review.
- Develop data & processes to increase implementation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish clear hand-offs of data and technology integration with Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) implementation
**Team Leadership**
- Develop hub manager hiring, training, and development.
- Develop dealer and customer key role training and sustainment.
- Live and demonstrate team norms and behaviors.
- Be a clear, visible advocate for PRISM across entities.
- Develop budgets & deliver on Operating Profit After Cost of Capital (OPACC) OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA) commitments.
**Value Pull Through**
- Align Product Development to deliver current & future OIA’s.
- Align Product Development to deliver Dealer/Customer Value.
- Support dealer and customer steering committees.
- Communicate delivered value.
**Business As Usual (BAU) Operations**
- Develop training for a Dealer to on-board additional customers.
- Deploy SIOP playbook & updates to Hubs.
- Provide back-up support of monthly ongoing SIOP process.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- University degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in the industry
- Experience with Caterpillar Dealer service parts supply chain & operations
- Experience with Sales, Inventory and Operations planning
- Understanding of data flow and structures to enable SIOP digital platform(s)
- Demonstrated experience to train and support delivery of business value from SIOP processes
**Additional information**:
- The location for this position is Brisbane or Perth.
- This position may require 10 - 25 % travel.
