**About the company**

**Role summary**

A 12-month contract opportunity(with permanent opportunity and possible extensions) for a strong real estate underwriter experience in the valuation or property background. You will predominantly focus on loan underwriting, and loan asset managements.

**About the role**
- Review and critical analysis of Investment Committee recommendation
- Due Diligence on new investments and funds
- Interrogation and challenging of assumptions
- Financial modelling
- Providing insights and recommendation on new loans
- Risk analysis and stress testing
- Extensive stakeholder management including sponsors, credit, valuation and middle office team
- Preparing execs reports
- Coordinating the production of quarterly management reports, detailing the current loan position and changes
- Analysing and responding to Borrowers requests on waivers, asset sales and extensions.

**Skills & experience**
- Extensive experience in a similar role (real estate lending or loan asset management)
- Local experience is a must (valuation, real estate advisory, property finance/development)
- Strong written communication skills, this individual will be writing executive and board level reports
- Strong valuation background or extensive knowledge on loan-on-loan products
- Advanced modelling skills
- Great negotiation skills
